$5,000 Minimum Guaranteed First Place at Every Divisional Tournament
 

$10,000 First Place On the Line at Lake Wylie

ATHENS, Ala. – The Ram Truck Open series will hold an Area Championship on August 27th & 28th on Lake Wylie for North and South Carolina Anglers.

The competitors will launch from Buster Boyd Landing in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:30 a.m. or safe light on days one and two. The weigh in will begin at 2:30 p.m. each day. Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26th at Buster Boyd Landing. 

All anglers are required to have a North Carolina fishing license for North Carolina waters and a South Carolina fishing license for South Carolina waters as the two states do not reciprocate.

Anglers fishing the Boater division may weigh in up to five bass each day, at least 14 inches in length. Co-Anglers may weigh in up to three bass each day, at least 14 inches in length. 

Lake Wylie will be off limits to all competitors beginning Monday, August 22nd through Wednesday, August 24th. Official practice begins Thursday, August 25th through Friday, August 26th.

Anglers must have fished three events in one division (North Carolina or South Carolina) or a total of four events in this area to qualify. To enter, anglers fishing the Boater division pay $300 with Co-Anglers paying $150. First place is guaranteed a minimum $10,000 first place for Boaters and $5,000 to the winning Co-Angler. To learn more about the payout visit www.ramopenseries.com/payout.php
